Grammatical Note

When you want to express the future after ("if"), use the present habitual tense, not the future.

Má cheannnaíonn séif he buys ...
Inis dom má cheannaíonn sé teach nua.Tell me if he buys a new house. Not: Inis dom má cheannóidh sé teach nua

This is just like normal English usage. Exception:
