God Plays Dice refers to this column, introducing a nice discussion of how the date of Easter is calculated. At the end of it she refers back to it, commenting
And I have no sympathy for the people quoted in that article. They've known this was coming since 1752, when the UK changed over to the Gregorian calendar.

Holy Saturday

Tonight we are going to the Easter vigil at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Minneapolis. As Mia wrote in Like coming home, we are doing the special liturgies of Holy Week together for the first time in many years. I agree with her completely. I had forgotten how wonderful Holy Week can be. Perhaps more on that another time.
